Recent news includes the appointment of Catherine Hill as a partner in our Private Client group.  Catherine specialises in advising UK landowning families on succession and tax planning.     Catherine and Penny Elliott, who arrived at Forsters last year, both join Forsters existing Landed Estates team, making Forsters one of the leading firms specialising in this area.   

The team will be further strengthened by the arrival of Andrew Lane in June which underlines our determination to expand our expertise in estate planning which has assumed an increased importance in clients’ eyes in the current economic climate.  Our private client team won The Lawyer's award for Private Client Team of the Year in 2008 and has been shortlisted for Law firm of the year at the CityWealth Magic Circle Awards 2009.  Catherine's appointment is part of a continuing strategy to build on our position as one of the pre-eminent London firms advising high-net worth individuals, trusts and estates.
