Forsters advise on Alphabeta and London Wall lettings

Forsters has advised longstanding client professional information solutions provider, Reed Elsevier Group plc, recently renamed RELX Group.

Forsters provided advice in relation to two recent City of London lettings to accommodate its business growth.

In a relocation of Elsevier Ltd, the Medical and Scientific Division, offices of circa 40,000 sq. ft. have been acquired at 125 London Wall.   Elsevier has sub-let the tenth and eleventh floors at the iconic postmodernist building from multinational banking and financial services group, JP Morgan.

In further activity, Mendeley, part of Elsevier Ltd, has taken a 10 year lease on circa 20,000 sq. ft. at the contemporary Alphabeta Building in the heart of London's Tech City. Mendeley is a global collaborative research platform with over 3m users worldwide and was acquired by the Reed Elsevier group in 2013.

Commercial Real Estate partner Glenn Dunn advised on the letting arrangements, assisted by Peter Selwyn. Partner and Head of Construction, Sarah Cook, advised in relation to construction matters.
